Top Ten Foods To Put Hot Sauce On

10. Hot Cocoa - Ok, so you don't actually put hot sauce ON this, but you do put hot sauce IN this. And when you do, it becomes a Mexican Hot Chocolate. Try the Bo's Honey Brown Hot version: we add a dash of Bo's HBH Sauce instead of habanero sauce to each glass of hot chocolate (we like Nestlé Hot Cocoa Dark Chocolate mix). Top with some cinnamon and you're done! The flavors of cinnamon, honey, brown sugar and chocolate all with a kick will want to make you drink this year round!

9. Fruit Salad - Randy Clemens, the author of “The Sriracha Cookbook: 50 Rooster Sauce Recipes that Pack a Punch” suggests topping chopped mangoes, papaya, banana (one of the '50 Best Breakfast Foods for Weight Loss'), kiwi and strawberries with a vinaigrette made from equal parts toasted sesame oil and seasoned rice vinegar, honey, Sriracha (or Bo's HBH), white sesame seeds and a low-sodium soy sauce. Top your bowl with some coconut flakes and fresh mint leaves to round out the flavor palate. If that's a bit too much, toss chopped pineapple, cucumber, and mango and sprinkle with a pinch of salt and a few shakes of Bo's HBH!

8. Oatmeal - While berries or cinnamon can be delicious in oatmeal, try spicing it up instead with some hot sauce. Get a good jump to your day with a burst of energy and alertness.

7. Soup - You know how a nice hot bowl of soup makes you feel all warm and cozy inside? Well try adding some hot sauce to your soup for an even cozier experience. It opens your sinuses, eases congestion and warms the soul. These two were made for each other.

6. Burgers - Naturally, ketchup and mustard are the most used condiments on burgers, but why not hot sauce? According to Eater, one of the top 5 toppings people want on their burgers are spicy things, aka hot sauce and jalapenos (aka Bo's Honey Brown Hot Sauce).

5. Shrimp - Shrimp is the most eaten seafood in the US. Ordinarily eaten with cocktail sauce, but to bump up the flavor follow this recipe: saute some shrimp in butter, Sriracha, and garlic mixture until it begins to pink up. Then, top the shrimp with some lemon zest, fresh mint, and basil. Allow the herbs to wilt before removing it from the heat. Serve with some heat and eat veggies or greens mixed with a light vinaigrette.

4. Hummus - Ok, this is another one that you more or less put hot sauce IN, not on, but it's worthy of our list. All of the goodness of traditional hummus, plus the irresistible flavor of HBH, will make your mouth water. The idea of a Bo's Honey Brown Hot Sauce flavored hummus has been tossed around frequently in our kitchen.

3. Popcorn - Put the kids to bed, pop some popcorn and turn up the heat. You won't fall asleep during this movie night when add some spice to your popcorn. Just melt some butter with a little hot sauce then drizzle on top. Mmmmmmmmm!

2. Eggs - Eggs by themselves can be 'blah'. Many of our customers use HBH on their eggs or egg sandwiches. Ketchup or Tobasco doesn't add much flavor. It's taking eggs to a whole new level.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand.......

1. Chicken Wings - Of course we had to put chicken wings on our list, because it's a classic. It's the go-to food to try out new hot sauces. If you've never tried HBH with chicken wings you are missing out big time. Next time you BBQ make sure to have your bottle of Bo's Honey Brown Hot Sauce and be ready to share.
